At Kick Asset Finance, we think it’s important to support local initiatives and the strength of community. We recently had the privilege of supporting the One Eighty charity’s t-shirts in the Blenheim 7K race, an occasion aimed at generating money and awareness for our community’s most vulnerable youth.
A local non-profit called One Eighty works to assist young people who are losing ground between health and education. Their work is essential in helping young people who deal with serious problems like trauma, mental illness, neurodiversity, domestic abuse, and the obligations of being a young caregiver. These difficulties frequently result in repeated absences from school, which may negatively affect their prospects in the long run.
Thanks to the funds raised at the Blenheim 7K run and our sponsorship, One Eighty has been able to extend their support to three additional young people since June. These individuals, who were disengaging from education, are now receiving the dedicated assistance they need to navigate their complex lives and re-engage with their education. It is incredibly rewarding to see how our contribution is helping to turn young lives around and offer them a brighter future.
